Commission Terms of Service Agreement
Client agrees to the following:
1. Clients must be 18 years of age or older.
If the client is found out to be younger than 18 years old at the time of agreement, they will be banned from future projects. Be advised harmful political or identity standpoints (homophobia, transphobia, general racism, etc,) whether targeted at the artist or not, can and will disqualify your slot.
A SFW piece will not exempt you from this rule.2. Clients must agree to pay the full amount before the artist begins work.
You will be invoiced if you fill a slot. Please respond to the invoice at your earliest convenience or your commission may be cancelled. Maximum wait time of 10 days, unless stated otherwise in a private agreement.3. Understand that your piece may take up to 30 days from payment
Though this will not always be the case, it is dependent on the artist’s workload. Updates may be requested any time, but please be aware there may not be an immediate response. Any signs of spam, or aggression may lead to a ban and a proportional refund, (see point 7.)4. Artist’s obligation for up to 3 revisions if necessary.
Please try and address these revisions before or during the sketching process, as it is harder to make changes once coloring and rendering begins. This may not apply to minor revisions.
Heavier revisions may result in additional fees, so it is advised to be as clear and concise as possible before work begins. Any and all tips will not be counted towards additional fees.
Please have a link to any and all references required on hand if possible.5. Delivery of Commission
Upon completion, a digital file will be sent to the provided email. The client understands that this is a digital file and does not require any physical product to be shipped. All updates will be watermarked and will not be removed for any reason before work is complete.6. Design assistance will result in a $50 fee.
This is specifically for text based references. I will accept visual references in pieces/from multiple sources (for example, a shirt from one source and a hairstyle from another.) You will be asked up front when filling out the commission form for transparency. If you do decide that you need design assistance, you will be granted 3 more revisions for your design. If you do not provide a visual reference, please expect this fee.7. Please inform the artist via Twitter (or provided email) if you would like to request a refund.
Please allow adequate time for a response. A refund will not entitle you to any completed work.Refunds work as follows:
1. No work started under 31 days: 100%
2. Client is unsatisfied with the sketch after revisions: 40%
3. Inking, coloring, and detailing stages or work completed: 0%8. Unauthorized money transference, such as chargebacks, will result in a ban.
All issues regarding refunds MUST be agreed upon with the artist. Any attempt at unauthorized money transference will result in a ban from future projects, and further action may be taken if deemed necessary.9. The artist has the right to use any incomplete and completed works monetarily
The artist has the right to use any incomplete and completed works monetarily in media such as in prints, art books, merchandise, promotions, etc.
This does NOT apply to any personal characters or works of your likeness.10. The client does not have the right to resell completed works without express permission from the artist.
Unless you and the artist agreed to a licensing fee, any attempt at reselling will result in a ban from future projects, and further action may be taken if deemed necessary.11. Clients must credit the artist as the creator of the work.
Failure to credit the artist, or removal of a signature, logo, or watermark, will result in a ban from future projects, and further action may be taken if deemed necessary.
